The New York Chapter's SIGs generally meet once a month. Attending is a great way to network and keep up to date on Guild business and industry trends. Most meetings last about 2 hours and start with an informal introduction. After that a guest speaker presents or the chair leads a round table discussion about a topic of concern, ie. pricing and estimates, copyright law, dealing with difficult clients, etc. Meeting date, time and locations are listed in the descriptions below. Listed below are our special interest groups, committees which meet to discuss issues and trends within certain industries (cartooning, design, and illustration). If you would like to become involved with a particular task integral to the functioning of the Chapter, please visit our Committees Page.
